Ella

Ella came in for an ultrasound but because it was early in her pregnancy, it was difficult to see her baby on the screen. She told us that she was leaning towards having an abortion -- and that she had them before. A few days later, we texted to ask how she was doing. She reported that the discomfort of morning sickness was making it difficult for her to work and that she was worried about maintaining her employment. We invited her into the Center for a second ultrasound. This time she could see her baby clearly, and she was visibly moved. She began to imagine meeting her baby face to face. Within a few weeks, her nausea subsided, and she regained her focus at work. She chose to go forward, and to enjoy her pregnancy.
